We started flying remote control airplanes and helicopters when we were younger and we really enjoyed the challenge and the skill required to be good at it. In 2004 the Gopro Hero cam was invented and everyone was trying to figure out how to get this small Hd camera into the air. We experimented with small rc helicopters but the footage was too shaky and not very good. Then a company called DJI figured out how to somewhat safely get the camera in the air with a quadcopter. Soon after, I bought my first drone and instantly realized that I could turn this hobby into a successful business.
FLYING FILMS NY has been in operation since 2013 and has grown from a business that only flew drones to what is now a full service video production company. The challenge to expand has been largely inspired by our commitment to serve the evolving needs of our clients. We are grateful to do what we do and look forward to how we can apply our skills to your creative endeavors.
